Many of you have asked if it is possible to watch the vote tonight in the House of Commons for Bill C-311. The quick answer is – yes! All House of Commons votes are televised on CPAC and depending on where you live CPAC is broadcast on different channels.
As for what time to tune in the voting schedule has just been changed. Originally voting would not begin until after 10pm this evening here in Ottawa (7pm back in B.C.); however the votes have now been moved up and will begin at 8:30 pm instead. Although Bill C-311 was originally the second vote to occur it has been moved back to being the 6th vote of nine scheduled to occur this evening. Keep in mind much can, and as we learned last week, often does change here on Parliament Hill. If there are any further changes I will try to advise however I would expect the vote to occur closer to 9pm. Thanks again for all of the questions, ongoing support and words of encouragement it is greatly appreciated! It is hard to believe that tonight could finally see C311 headed off to the Senate…
